IPTV Installations

Waveguide does not provide IPTV Content, but we can install the cabling to get your programming from the broadcast room to your passenger’s cabin. No matter which IPTV provider you choose, we can work with that provider to ensure the cabling is in place to support their system. Whether this means certifying existing cabling or installing and terminating new cables to each cabin, Waveguide will get the job done right.

Case History

Waveguide carried out a series of cabling installs on three cruise ships. It involved providing all infrastructure and related materials and labor to support a new IPTV system to all passenger and officer cabins. This included installing and terminating a fiber backbone to support the system, and a cable to each cabin. We provided specialty European hardware to seamlessly integrate with existing hardware and Italian power strips and power cables to support all equipment in each cabin. We even installed and connected the IPTV hardware in more than 300 cabins per ship. Each install was carefully documented and presented to the ships’ owner in a comprehensive documentation binder.
